Coming Soon...

March has been a good but busy month in the life of the Droddys. Here are the highlights (I am really good at making bulleted lists!):

• Beginning of Spring Soccer with the YMCA for Seth...those first couple of games were COLD!
• BCM Rummage Sale--literally all we did for 2-3 weeks. Raised $5500 for missions!
• Kids on Spring Break--relaxed schedule at home; went to Tyler, TX to the zoo one day.
• Home visit for our adoption home study--All eyes on having the home study for our adoption completed by end of April!
• Area college campuses on Spring Break this week---aaaahhh, I get to take a breath.
• OH, and by the way, the leaves on the oak tree in our backyard fall in spring. REALLY?!? The kids enjoy it:

SO, NOW the "coming soon" part. We are starting a separate adoption blog AND an adoption facebook group later this week. We are about to begin taking some serious steps forward and we want all our family and friends along for the ride. You want a ticket?

Remembering the Snow

It's raining hard outside tonight. We have had touches of warm weather this past weekend and I am now ready for spring (all 2 weeks of it) and longer "days". However, I'm reminded of the snow we had not too long ago...about a month ago, in fact....

More February!

First, an adoption update: Mary and I had our first interview for our home study last Wednesday in Monroe. It was a hectic day but everything went well. We hope to have the home visits for our study done mid-March. We will keep everyone posted...until then, here are some pics from the weekend before Mardi Gras.
