I am a vampire!

Abram's new nickname is Snaggletooth--for obvious reasons. We're still waiting on the 2 front teeth.

Jonah is playing basketball in an Upward league here in Shreveport. He really enjoys it and is catching on fast. He's sure to be a baller! (A dad can hope!)

Disney World Fun

Our family just returned from a few days at Disney World for marathon weekend. I did NOT run this year but we were glad to go to support and hang out with our friends, the Platts and the Sullivans. Disney is always fun. The trip down there is not--Orlando is much farther away from Shreveport than it is from Atlanta.

The kids ran in their own races on Saturday. Leah, Caleb, and Seth did a 100-meter race, Lydia and Jonah ran a 200-meter race, and Joshua ran, or rather crawled, a diaper dash. It was great fun watching the kids run.
After the kids' races, we found a quiet, shady spot to have a picnic lunch. While we were there, a skywriter wrote several simple Christian messages for all to see. The airplane's writing was neater than my handwriting!
On Monday, we spent the day at the Magic Kingdom. We rode many rides and saw many characters. Here are the boys with Buzz Lightyear.

Wrapping up the Holidays

The boys got these cool monster shirts from Aunt Laura for Christmas, which they absolutely love wearing together. However, the irony in this is that Seth has been really afraid of monsters lately. We keep telling Seth that monsters are not real and if they were, they would be nice not mean. I don't think he's buying what we're trying to sell!!

This Christmas we had the privilege to spend a few days with each of our families. This picture of Seth (Note the legs coming from under the tree) was one of my favorites from the holidays. Every other year we spend Christmas eve and morning with my family at my sister's house. Seth took it upon himself to find all the gifts labeled "S-E-T-H". So he decided to weasel a large portion of his body under the tree to dig them out. While we was under there he found more than he had bargained for....my sister has four dogs......you get the picture!!!

We spent a day enjoying all the lights and festivities at Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO. In these pictures we are riding the Branson version of the teacup ride. I'm just thankful it wasn't playing country music.

The weather in Arkansas was beautiful, as it should be in such a great state. I decided to take some pictures of the kids. Abram is such a good baby. He loves just taking everything in around him. To him, everyday life seems to be an exciting and beautiful thing. I hope each and every one of you were able to take time away from the busyness of the holidays to reflect on the single reason of celebration...the birth of our Savior JESUS CHRIST!!
