A couple recent pics

It's amazing how much paper (thankfully) the movers use to pack one box. We could have literally filled a room with all the packing materials--maybe we did that??.

Sneaky little Seth wormed his way into bed with us one morning. He really wedged himself in right next to Mary.

Bend it like Droddy...

Well, after Jonah bugging us for about a year now to play soccer, we finally enrolled him through the local YMCA. HE IS LOVING IT!!
He is doing a great job listening to the coach and following directions. He is actually pretty good. They don't keep score at the games for kids this age (which is probably a good thing). BUT, he did score 2 of the 3 goals that were made in their last game. Most of the kids do a good job just remembering into which goal they are supposed to send the ball.
Watching big brother has really motivated Seth to play also. Unfortunately, Seth is not eligible for play until next spring...too bad! Well, look out World Cup, we may have a soccer prodigy on our hands!!!!

Have no fear...

The Droddys are safe and sound in our new home in Shreveport. You may have mistakenly assumed that we were either abducted or severely injured...neither are true. We have simply been locked in the chaos of packing up our lives in Atlanta (finally and sadly) and rearranging it in Shreveport. Just so you know, the sale of our house in Atlanta went smoothly as well as our purchase of the new house in Shreveport. Now we are trying to establish a new routine...not easy. Part of that new routine will be to update the blog much more regularly. I no longer have an excuse. AND, by the way, there are LOTS of things I want to share. A preview....
--Jonah has been taking swim lessons and he is also on a soccer team
--Mary lost her keys and I got to go dumpster diving for the first time
--We had snow in La and on moving day of all times
--The previous owners of our house didn't have keys??!
--We have cable for the first time since we've been married

Keep checking back. Take care.
